<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Autism Is a &#8216;Spectrum&#8217; Disorder</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">People with this condition can be a little autistic or extremely autistic. However, it is very probable that they are intelligent, autistic and verbal as well as mentally retarded. It is a disorder that has a wide range of symptoms is usually called as </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>autism spectrum disorder</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">. The common symptoms are hardship with conversation, social communication and contact. </span></span></p>
<h2><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Asperger Syndrome is a High Functioning Form of Autism</span></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Asperger Syndrome is also believed to be a section of </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>autism spectrum</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">. However, the only major difference between Asperger Syndrome and high function autism can develop their speech on the right time, while autism may have delays. </span></span></p>
<h2><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">People With Autism Are Different from One Another</span></span></h2>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">It is common mistake for most people to think that people with autism are just the same. However, it is very important to keep in mind that the autism differs from every child. Meaning, you can’t conclude that every child has the same condition. It basically varies on the stage of the condition. So if other person has autism, it doesn’t mean that both them have the same condition.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Children With Autism Need Structure</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Structure is important for </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>autistic children</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> because it reduces anxiety, behavior problems, anxiety, confusion and stress. It helps the child to develop their strengths in areas such as organization, predictability, routine, ease with repetitive task and the importance of finishing a certain task. In addition, structure also helps them to be independent.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Tips To Maintain Structure:</strong></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Create daily schedules that they need to follow and make sure to teach them the importance of schedule.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Focus on the activity that your child wished to perform.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Daily schedules, list and calendars will help the child the importance of step-by-step activities. </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Use numerous visual cues such as check lists, sentences, words, icons, photos and objects. </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Be sure to make a schedule that is very important for them to develop their skills and capabilities.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Be sure that the work you are giving them is appropriate for the level of their autism.</span></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Children With Autism Need To Be Taught Visually</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">In general, </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>children with autism</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> learn through pictures not in a form of language. Their thoughts can be compared to a videotapes running into their imaginations. They can learn through pictures effectively as their first language, the words are just their second language. Nouns are easier for them to understand for the reason that they can easily male a picture on it in their minds. In order to </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>teach your autistic child</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> the words such as “down” or “up” is to demonstrate it for them to understand.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Teaching children can be a daunting task and you need a lot of patience but as long as you are willing to help your child with autism, things will be just run smoothly. Always remember to be consistent on helping them so that they can still live a normal life just like other kids do.</span></span></p>

However, in case of autism in children, determining it early will bring a large difference. Meaning, it would be ideal to know the </span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><strong>signs and symptoms of autism</strong></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"> early, so that the treatment will work effectively. Watching for the </span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><strong>signs of autism</strong></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"> in infant and children is very important. </span></p>
<p><a name="understanding"></a>Determining the autism in its initial stages is important because it can interrupt the condition to develop as well as to reduce its problems. Always don’t lose hope when seeking treatment for your child no matter what is their age. Treatment for autism can surely alleviate the effect and can help your child grow and learn like normal people do.</p>
<p><a name="early"></a>Early detection of autism is up to parents</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;">The parents have the best position to spot the early </span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><strong>autism signs and symptoms</strong></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;">. As parents, you know how they behave than just a 15 minutes visit to their pediatrician, which they may not observe it. However, the pediatrician can be a great partner. If you observed something isn’t normal especially on their behavior, do not discard that instead learn on how you can teach yourself the normal and not normal behavior. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Monitor the development of the child – autism entails numerous developmental delays, so remember to keep your eyes when your child is having a difficulty in areas such as emotional, social as well as cognitive milestones. Even though developmental delays aren’t automatically points that your child is autistic, it can be an indication. </span></span></p>
<p>Take action if it worries you – Each child has different development pace, meaning you don’t have to worry if your child is delayed in walking or talking. In terms of healthy development, there’s several range that can be considered as normal. However, if your child isn’t meeting the normal range of developmental pace, it would be ideal to consult his or her pediatrician right away.</p>

On the other hand, research indicates that most autistic children show </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>symptoms of autism</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> during their first year from birth.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Symptoms of autism should you look for in infants and toddlers</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">The first thing that you need to consider if you are a parent being worried if the child is autistic is if they are hitting the right sign of development. There is an essential guide provided by the Centre of Disease Control from age one to five years old. Ask the pediatrician or health professional to know this information. Even though it is normal for a child to grow slower than the usual kids or the normal milestone, the thing that parent should consult the physician if they are late over the accepted milestones.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Research has also shown that the symptoms of autism may appear during the early stages of the infant’s development. Most of this effective measures is by utilizing home videos that are taken during the time when the child is developing prior on diagnosing autism. These videos are usually being analyzed and judge against normal child. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">These videos revealed that even they reach 18 months </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>autistic child</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"> may already have various patterns of behavior. Typically, they lack social gaze, the process of looking to someone if they are given an attention. When the child is looking on a particular object or item they also tend to have a particular behavior. These are the </span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>signs of autism in toddlers</strong></span></span><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">, which can be indicated that they have their own world.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">One of the characteristics of full blown autism is the children with autism’s patterns of movement. These are violent outburst, clumsiness as well as repetitive movements are very typical features of autism. </span></span></p>
